A splendid introduction to the loosestrife family. Its deep reddish purple leaves contrast well with its loose sprays of bright yellow flowers to good effect. Prefers a sunny site. Flowers June - August. 60-90cm (24-36") Easy, spreads rapidly. Excellent for prairie planting and 'wild' gardens.
