An interesting little plant native to New Zealand, useful as low ground cover. Slowly spreading mats of dark green almost black, ferney foliage, each with delicate green tips clothe the ground. A mature plant is quite a sight. Really effective as a filler between stepping stones and similar especially when combined with Pratia and/or Saginia 2.5cm x 30cm (1' x 12').
