A very easily grown iris that quickly forms a large clump, from which tall stems bearing sprays of small deep blue eye-catching flowers appear Jun-Jul. Prefers a moist soil in sun or partial shade. Grows to 1m (3') Looks good when planted near ponds etc. where its strap-like leaves shine.
