These prepared hyacinth bulbs can be planted to flower for Christmas. Jan Bos has beautiful sweet smelling carmine red flowers.Planting instructions. Fill a pot within 5 cm of the top. Set the bulbs in the pot, close but not touching. Add more compost up to the neck of the bulb and firm down, the top of the bulbs should be just showing. Water lightly to moisten compost.Place the pot in a dark cool place for about 10 weeks, until shoots appear, water if they are drying out. and then move to a light, airy spot.Height 25 cm (10") Bulb size 17-18Wear gloves when handling the bulbs.Please note that all our loose bulbs are sourced from Taylors Bulbs.
