(Shaving Brush Ginger) Another species from India with scented white flowers (unusually wider than tall) and yellow stamens borne in late summer. The plant grows tall to a height of 1.2-1.5m. Prefers a spot in sun or semi-shade with lots of summer water. Can be spectacular. Excellent and probably better in a large container where its architectural foliage will compliment the flowers.
