A select terrestrial 'hardy' bromeliad. Flowers are surrounded by bright scarlet red modified leaves. These contrast stunningly with the cream and blue central flower. Not the easiest of plants to over winter outside. Plant in a hot sunny well drained site and keep fairly dry especially in the winter. Rather stunning. Height 30cm (1')
