A rather unusual, quite spectacular plant. Ideal for shade, especially dry shade, the leaves darken as they mature, ending the year a rich plum colour. As with most Epimediums, delicate sprays of flowers are borne during March and April, in this case a soft yellow orange. Easy, yet slow to bulk up. Rather select.
