Certainly the best red Crocosmia we have come across. A chance seedling this compact variety has large bold clear deep red flowers held on moderately tall stems. It is free standing and showy, flowering later than Lucifer. Prefers a sunny well drained site in good soil, but will tolerate less. Height 75-90cm (2.5-3')
