Native to the tropical forests of southeast Asia and Oceania. As a house plant they grow to 60-90cm (2-3') but in their native conditions they can easily reach 3m (10'). Crotons like to be kept moist but not wet and prefer a sunny site to keep the leaves colourtful. They can be misted occasionaly and the leaves may need wiping when dusty. Repot in the spring if needed. Beimg Euphorbia relations all parts are poisonous.
