An interesting variety that forms clumps of thick rhizomes bearing bold deeply lobed leaves up to 20cm across on upright stalks. Tall sprays of slightly scented white flowers are borne from mid-to late summer. Easily grown in a humus rich soil that is drained, in semi shade. May be wise to mulch the rhizomes to protect them from severe frost. Height 30-45cm.
