We don't grow many tender plants but this one blew me away. The strappy evergreen grass like leaves provide the perfect foil for large sprays of pure white flowers during May. A New Zealand native, it requires winter frost protection but is worth a little extra effort. Otherwise it is easy given a semi shaded spot in well drained soil. Height 75cm (2.5')
