Primula sieboldii - our latest National Collection

Please note that last winter (2010/2011) almost totally wiped out our national collection. We do still stock a few plants and will leave these pages for reference. Please phone for availability.

I have always been passionate about plants in general, but  the number of times I have been asked 'which is your favourite plant?' I really can't remember. My answer is always the same - 'I couldn't possibly choose one I might be able to choose my top 100 favourites, and these would vary from month to month.' I must admit however to always having a passion for Primulas. So when the opportunity came along for a national collection I jumped at the chance. Primula sieboldii have always been a favourite and when I realised how many there were to be had and how few were in the plantfinder I set about collecting. The result is still in the making, most have Japanese names and there seems to be a lot of errors in the spelling. Over the next few years I will gradually iron these out and build up a collection that can be both a passion and a reference point for others. I do confess however that I will need help - so here goes- If any one out there in cyberspace can correct any of my errors, add plants, offer advice etc. etc. please do. I dont mind how simplistic it is, if you have something to offer please either e-mail on Richard@farmyardnurseries.co.uk or ring on (01559) 363389 --PLEASE
